Jausentest was born from a simple problem: finding an open Heurigen or a local farm shop shouldn't feel like a treasure hunt. We've digitalized the traditional Austrian 'Heurigen-Kalender' to bring producers and enjoyers together.
We believe in the value of honest craftsmanship. Whether it's a perfectly smoked speck or a crisp glass of Grüner Veltliner – we want to make sure you find the most authentic spots across Austria.
The Kren Standard
Why we don't use stars.
In Austria, real quality has a certain 'sharpness'. That's why we use 'Krenwurzn' (horseradish) for our ratings. From 1 to 5 Kren, our community shares honest, unvarnished experiences from their visits.
